About Health Plug
When you’re in need of a health professional or a health service Healthplug is here to help.It all started when my mother found herself looking for a dental bridge specialist near her. She, like many others went online to find the right service. But the process wasn’t easy, she had to call over 13 dentists, scouring the web for reviews. She ended up finding a service which was over 6 miles away (in London). After her treatment was complete, she heard about a service which specialised in cosmetic dentistry from her friend, what’s more it was only a 10 minute walk away and they offered care to NHS patients.
There was little she could do, but it really got us thinking. Why isn’t there a platform that makes finding the right health service available? And if there is one, why did we never find it?
So that’s our mission; help connect health consumers with health services that are right for them.
